Komfort short socks
Materials: polypropylene 77% cotton 20%, elastane 3%
The different attributes of cotton and polypropylene were utilized during the construction of these socks. Cotton absorbs moisture and cools. Polypropylene does not absorb moisture, is neutral and is warm. The correct ratio of warm and cool zones arranged in strips means constant thermal stability with good drawing away of moisture. The skin on the foot is not able to identify the individual zones and it perceives the surface of the sock as a thermally balanced, dry whole even in a soaked shoe. The reinforced heel and toe are connected by a weave with a small loop, which outstandingly pervades the perception zones. The low sock ends under the ankle with a low elastic hem. A small tongue on the edge of the hem above the heel made from a double weave helps when putting on the socks. It also serves as protection against possible pressure sores and chafi ng from wearing shoes with straps. The socks are designed for regular wearing on warm days. The system of the creation of warm and cool zones using various materials is protected by a patent.
